rorz101uk
2004 when Hornby Brought out the Class 31, I’ve got a bit of soft spot for these locos as I did my apprenticeship at the RTC in derby from 2005 to 2018. I hope the Network Rail ones are on the cards! 31105 or 31465? Would you guys be going to model the SGT Equipment on with 31233, 31285 and not sure 31602? anyway we’ll done! Can’t wait for the painted simples!

The Ghost of IKB
That's mine ordered. When a tops 31/1 turns up I'll have that too. Now with the deltic, 37 mk2b and now 31 there's a bit of an Eastern region thing going on. Ahem, you do know that 40s were eastern locos too. Hint, hint. 2

66738
Very happy with this announcement. Lost patience with Hornby long ago regarding a 31/4 in blue. I look forward to hearing the startup sequence and may I suggest flames for those particularly cold start ups? 66738 Edited February 23, 2022 by 66738 1 4

We intend to make them all, but we cant bring them all to market at once. We will get there though! Cheers! Fran 13

RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted February 23, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 23, 2022 Another temptation.... It will be hard to resist either the Intercity or Regional Railways example to accompany my EWS example on a slightly adjusted Virgin XC substitution (37466 was not yet in EWS when Virgin borrowed it)

RMweb Gold Markwj Posted February 23, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 23, 2022 Was supposed to be cutting my model railway spending but you haven't helped! Hopefully I can pay in installments like last time to enable me to pay it off before delivery therefore avoiding credit card use. Thank you though never thought I would be so excited to see a new class 31 being announced!

37403
Not in the market for any of these, however, I think it's only fair to say that the pricing of these are a credit to your business. Keep up the fantastic work and I'll look out for future announcements. 1
RMweb Gold Roy Langridge Posted February 23, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 23, 2022 Well, two sound fitted models ordered. My self-imposed Hornby embargo now feels vindicated as the only two models I would have missed were the 31 and 56. and I now have both pre-ordered with Accurascale and Cavalex - happy days Roy 7 5 1 1
