sncfbill
I have one of these items which has taken a tumble and during reassembly some wiring has been disturbed. I have managed to get the loco working again but the LED lights no longer work - a resistor on the PCB appears to have blown - it is dark brown with two bands black and green and I wish to replace it to get the lighting working once more. Mehano have been entirely unhelpful although I have asked them for the resistor values - can anyone give me a suitable replacement resistor value please as it seems that most resistors have three or four colour bands??? sncfbill
I attach photo of the PCB the bottom resistor has failed and has been removed - the track for PCB can be clearly seen.

jpendle
Hi, As I said in your other thread it's an LL4148 diode and not a resistor that's missing. The resistors on that board are the fat green things with 3 colour bands on the right hand side. I think you'll need to mount it on the board the opposite way round to the diode at the top left.
