Guest Jack Benson
Hi, The start of a workbench thread to be used a therapy aid........ As I no longer seem to be capable of exhibiting or anything remotely complicated (thanks to the never ending fun of Parkinsons), the remaining options are:- Building wagon kits, any more complicated is a non-starter Scenery Rather than something really easy, such as a plastic kit from Cambrian, I chose an exLMS Diag 1666 open wagon, once offered by Adrian at ABS, an example has arrived from Martin (BrownSauce) on eBay. The choice was inspired/influenced by this magnificent example by Adam Chapman, a master modeller. Thanks to Adam C. Gibson wheels are included, no need for brass bearings as the wagon is whitemetal. I am really looking forward to something that I might/will be able to complete, folk always suggest that an open wagon is ideal for a beginner, maybe rather ironic for an old fart, but you need to pick your battles. Thanks and StaySafe
