Put it on hold and built another layout for the local show.

 

The next priority is to build a single track loop around the railway room to allow my trains to stretch their legs

 

I may then return to finish the Challenge layout

Currently as listed on my thread, although I have now fitted the speakers to the support frame - they are removable so that it can fold, and found a couple more trucks on Ebay - Not sure that the ballasting will be done in time for the exhibition, two more boxcabs to be fitted to their Underground Ernie chassis. still waiting for the leg extensions
