F-UnitMad Posted June 3, 2022 Share Posted June 3, 2022 I once got a Bachmann F9 to fit on an Athearn F7 chassis, in HO. With a bit of bodgery something similar should be possible in N ? Many years ago the pinacle of my then N scale collection was the Kato F7 A & B set. Beat old Atlas and Bachmann F-Units which I had in all aspects, hands down. I'm assuming the block is the full width of the loco, if it was thinner it might be possible to use it for a CF7, like @F-UnitMad 's suggestion I have done the same with Kato drives in Athearn CF7 bodies and frames.
