Blythburgh Station Open Day & MRE Sunday 11th September

The Halesworth to Southwold Narrow Gauge Railway Society will be holding an open day and model railway exhibition at Blythburgh station & Village Hall on 

 

Sunday 11th September.

 

10.30 - 16.00

 

This is an all Free event with tours of the Station site & restored coal shed, live steam railway, neighbouring village hall will be in use for the Model Railway Exhibition and Free teas and coffees.

Just a reminder this event is next Sunday

And I think Steamworks at Southwold is also open as there are many heritage events all over Suffolk that weekend. Easy enough to do the two locations on the same day methinks.

We've been in discussions today about what to do regarding our event Sunday and its been decided as we're also a part of the National Heritage Open Days that we'll go ahead with the event.
