This entry is in response to a good question on the layout and working of UVS.

 

Platform working

Down passenger arrivals always went to Platform 1. Auto trains, railcars, DMUs, could leave directly. Loco-hauled trains were propelled out of platform 1, run round, then set back - to either platform but typically P2, I believe. I assume [but...
