Tigger
Has anyone tried these before. Am after advice as to fitting them to Pullman coaches, the newish Hornby ones. All help received with thanks I think the new Hornby Pullmans come with NEM Pockets so it would be quite simple to fit Kadee's 17, 18, 19 and 20. These are different length so you will have to work out which one you need, but these are a simple push fit into the NEM Pocket and off you go Hope this helps
Guest 838rapid
Cheers Tigger. I have got some that have been butchered. The close coupling arms have been chopped off. Was wondering about refitting the Keens as am unable to get the replacement Hornby bits
wollastonblue
Hi, I have used them with Bachmann Mk 1s. All you have to do is remove a bit of flashing, paint them black, unscrew the bogies, replace the current drawbars with the Keens, screw the bogie back on and place your coupling of choice (with me it was Kadee no. 20s). Service can be slow, but I found Roger very helpful, as he goes to rather a lot of exhibitions. I believe he will be at Warley. Cheers
Tigger
Having done a little more research I think Kadee 18's are what you need, but if you have tighter than 30" radius curves you may need to get 19's or 20's to stop buffer lock Have a look here from the old site http://www.rmweb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&p=668628
wollastonblue
Forgot to mention, that my layout has radius 2 curve on it, so Kadee No. 20s are perfect for them. Cheers
