Crisis Rail
I know it goes underneath at the pointy bit - I assume it is a screw discharge pipe but does this discharge into a hopper / wagon (PCA - JGA?) or fed to another buiding - Had an image trawl but nothing clear found. Thanks for any cementy types out there who can help - Ian
Wummyock
I would hazard a guess it goes to another building possibly one that would be used for bagging cement?Arent the cement wagons loaded by air pressure? Not an expert Crisis just thinking back to silos Ive worked with that had augers on the bottom of them and where/what they led to. GRUNFOS
It is a screw auger that runs from the bottom of the silo into the loading bay through a weigh hopper. The blue end is the electric motor. It is an enclosed system to keep dust emissions to zero.
