Taigatrommel
Inspired by the fact I have a Piko brewery largely built, I've been looking at the rail sidings of prototype breweries. Furthermore, inspired by the Herforder Pils grain wagon in this year's Rivarossi range, I found something neat within minutes using Google Earth. Herforder Brauerei Doubtless of interest to generations of squaddies! In a nutshell, just two sidings, in H0 they scale at just five feet long. doctor quinn
Set in a nice bit of German suburbia too, a very "different " scenic setting for either a shunting layout or a german one. I dont see a run around loop so presumably the local shunter propels wagons for the brewery the whole length of the branch (twig?). Nick
mr45144
I knew I was a bad influence on you Rich. Happy Herford - OTTMH that's the remaining stub of the metre gauge Herforder Kb. I love that town. Kev (4 ADSR 1988-91)
