Geoff Endacott Posted July 18, 2011 Share Posted July 18, 2011 Further to my brief reply, the last maroon Western was D1046 which was outshopped in blue on 12-05-71. Three other Westerns lasted in maroon into 1971 - D1012, D1039 and D1056. Of these, D1046 was the only one to retain small yellow panels. D1030western musketeer Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 All 52,s in the early 70s were blue but some hymeks were green and withdrawn in this livery in 1972.the last remaining warships withdrawn in 72 were all blue. richard.
