n scale scalescenes I"ve completed

thanks for the advice.been on the phone to my brother and im going to his tomorrow and use his think ill have a go at that free 1 first

The main office/clock tower of the large station r005 is going in there.

 

Aha, seen. Looking very good if I may say.

 

Some very nice modelling there think i might have a go at some scalescenes kits myself

 

Scalescenes was one of the reasons I got back into the hobby when I found how much fun building these was & how reasonably priced. It's also given me many ideas about how to scratchbuild stuff!

Good to see you back! Another nice build,with some interesting touches like the bollards to the right of the photo.

 

Also impressed with the foliage. Presume they are roses? Am considering window boxes for my scratchbuilt row of cottages, but something like those would also look great.

Nice to see the Grey Stone Walling texture sheet being used, its not one you see used a lot, I have that sheet and used it (00) to build one of the Fairford branch buildings, then coloured it more sandstone using watercolours.

 

Its a low res picture but it does show the stone.

Lovely detail! How did you go about reinforcing your platforms? Did you use any track bed, which meant raising the height of the platform?
