Which is as it should be. I learnt that my phone camera does not do moving shots in low light very well. Late in the day our foremost 2mm modeller was demonstrating his precision skills by applying a large hammer to the baseboards on CF. It does encourage me to make a much smaller layout than I originally planned before moving on to bigger things. There was some stunning modelling on display but I always think that what really makes these events is the chance to meet up with friends, old and new- particularly enjoyable this time as we hadnt been allowed out to play for so long. Because of that, here are just a handful of people pictures from the weekend. Jerry Myself, Kevin Knight and John Greenwood John with our Saturday boy, Will Powell Cake time at Padstow and Wadebridge. L to R, myself, Paula Martin, Kevin Knight, John G, Laurie Adams and Ian (the cake man) Smeeton. Chocolate and Lemon drizzle - they tasted as good as they looked - superb! Lots of chatter at Alan Smith and Keith Gloster's Evercreech Junction The Australian contingent look happy to be in the far south west at Wadebridge. Kevin Knight and Michael McLaughin Edna Greenwood and Laurie Adams catching up by the Wadebridge fiddle yard.
