Buildings are far too close together and the RTR footbridge has clearly just been dropped on top.

Harlech this morning.

Here's another picture of the layout from a couple of years ago. Stock could do with a bit of weathering and really, do you get weather like that in Wales.

Chichester - Horsham line on the horizon but what a clichéd back scene.

Could only be more clichéd if there was a castle... Over my right shoulder is Arundel...

I hope the top picture conveys it. The light was weird last night so the hills looked completely flat.

Hornby Blue Pullman on this layout of York. They've even found room to include part of the National Railway Museum!

Clearly from the railroad range. They've just painted a Margate HST to turn a quick buck rather than doing an actual model.

Love walking my parents dogs down on the water meadows down there. Often see the trains go by. Can hear them coming down the valley long before you can see them from Amberley or from Arundel in the other direction.

Also, up on the top of the ridge at Burpham

How did they do the scaffolding? And the backscene, with the mist gradually covering the landscape, looks so realistic you could almost think it was a photo of the real thing........

Interesting use of perspective modelling, using N scale houses, road vehicles etc to make the OO train look higher up than it actually is.

Was it this?

Also, it looks like they used ScaleScenes' plate girder bridge.

Not sure what they used for the main bridge supports.
