A few more of Falcon Lake.

All photos by kind permission of Lee Bryant

'Jack's Diner' has featured on my last 3 layouts! It was built especially in honour of 'Shortliner,' who has long been my inspiration!!post-8889-0-24586500-1370780633_thumb.jpgpost-8889-0-34611800-1370780655_thumb.jpgpost-8889-0-64044300-1370780674_thumb.jpg

Is Jack "nine month's gone" as represented in the model "Jack's Diner"?

I think we should be told.......

Actually a 'joint" owned by Jack would be OK with me.

Hmmm. lemme see, a typical chrome plated Noo Joisee diner called "Jack's Joint" - inspiration comes from everywhere!

Best, Pete.

Pete beat me to it - I see you got the proprietor approximately the right shape. Pete - Dave might have to put up a "No Smoking" sign outside or we might get raided!

I'm sure you will be a sylph - like figure of a man by the time you have trekked the length Scotland and more to reach TVNAM Jack.

It's not tomorrow, but the day after, come along to this friendly show, and see some of the best American model railroads on the circuit.

You never know, you might end up going over to the darkside, but you won't know till you try it!!!

So come along and see, there are 15+ layouts,(large and small) and trade support, with everyone bursting at the seams to answer all your question, from DCC,modular, how to operate your railroad, using switch list etc.

If yo've always fancied modelling the darkside, but never took that first step this is the place to be(you won't be disappointed)

Yes, turn to the darkside. We have cookies.

Seriously, this promises to be a great show.

So much quality!! .... probably a good job I'm just helping this time around, rather than lowering standards with a layout

Nothing wrong with your modelling, Jordan!

Looks like some great layouts.   Menasha is a particular favourite of mine.   I'll have to sneak away from the pay desk for a look round :-)

Anyone thinking of attending may like to note that the programme can only be downloaded from this website:

http://www.tvnam.co.uk/

I know you have to print it yourself but I usually end up trying to read the programme while looking at a layout or not opening it until I get home and finding out what I have missed!
