Having worked 6C22 back from Bathampton Junction (from the Freshford worksite), here it sits in Westbury Down Yard waiting for the driver to shut it down. Finally, 56078 approaching Uttoxeter station on its regular working from Redcar to Pinnox Branch Esso sidings - unusually routed via the North Staff line instead of via Alrewas and Lichfield. RMweb Gold 4630 Posted July 25, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 25, 2022 On 23rd July 2022, in connection with weekend engineering work along the Penistone line, Colas 56302 PECO The Railway Modeller 2016 70 Years leads a rake of loaded HQA autoballasters approaching Deighton with 6C81, Doncaster Up Decoy Yard to Huddersfield... ...with 56094 on the rear. With the ballasting completed overnight, on 24th July 2022 56094 disturbs the quiet* of Sunday morning and returns the autoballasters as 6C81, passing Deighton working from Springwood Junction to Doncaster Up Decoy... ...no sign of 56302 though, which I assume remained around the engineers' possession. * In the quiet of Sunday morning it was possible to hear 56094 accelerate the train away from Huddersfield, which is almost two miles west from my position at Deighton. 10 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
