6959
If I buy these Dapol LMS corridor coaches, Will I have the same problems I had with the Dapol LMS non-corridor coaches regarding the underframe detail being the wrong way round, i.e. battery boxes? http://www.ehattons.com/59407/Dapol_4P_010_011_RTR_60ft_Stanier_corridor_composite_in_BR_carmine_cream/StockDetail.aspx http://www.ehattons.com/59408/Dapol_4P_010_012_RTR_57ft_Stanier_corridor_brake_in_BR_carmine_cream_M5530M/StockDetail.aspx Thanks in advance. Hi regarding the Dapol ex Airfix/Mainline corridor coaches, I've purchased both the composite and the brake corridor types in the last year and found that for the composite, which represents a 60ft length coach, the chassis is correctly moulded, with the battery box moulded behind the battery box access doors. However for the corridor brake, the battery box was incorrectly moulded on the opposite side to the access doors. The 57ft chassis moulding is the same as that used in the non corridor coaches, so did have the same fault. This is showing in the Hattons links you attached. I had heard that Dapol had corrected this error on recent releases of the 57ft types, but I haven't seen any to confirm
Free At Last
Depends, they have fixed the tooling on some of the models. I recently bought some non-corridor brake ends and some had the new underframe and roof and some were mixed.
