Britannia Pacific Models (and Alan Gibson supplies)

Just a 'heads up' for this small outfit (and AG). I spoke with BP Models  last week and asked for a blue DBT (angular style) and mentioned that I was taking my layout to the Retford Show November 16th and 17th. I also ordered some Gibson EM wheels last Thursday and asked for them to go straight to BP Models. They must have been delivered to BP Models the following day as I received the completed DBT on Monday!

This is just such helpful service that I needed to do a public thanks.

I see they (BP Models) have a good looking Inspection Saloon - think I'll be ordering a blue/white one very soon after this transaction.

I have the Britannia Pacific Inspection Saloon and its a very nice model. I have added the roof water pipes and have it set up for 00, EM and P4 gauges using spare bogies from Replica.

That's a great idea re the bogies. Do they clip in as on my DBT? I've added lamp irons to the DBT; that's all.

Considering what kits cost and the time saved I think his prices are very competitive.

Yes, straight forward clip in. The bogies need building as they are in 3 pieces from Replica but are self aligning and just need some plastic cement. 30 seconds work.

Cant vouch for Alan Gibson but all my dealings with Peter at BP have been faultless and very professional, courteous and communicative. He's a credit to the hobby and I now buy a few items from him.
