I’m soooo pleased about the 2HAL. Exactly what we need for Balcombe. This must be down to the success of the 2BIL.

This now makes ‘number 14’ on the list of projects (scratch, bodge, kit and conversions) that have been overtaken by a ‘proprietary’ product. Part of me has always thought ******!!!…but definitely not in this case, although since we started the Balcombe project, I’ve acquired three different makes of kits, sides, conversions etc,.

I suppose that if you wish and froth hard enough on these threads, your dreams can come true!

Edit ..just seen the Crosti..that makes number 15...almost 'bah humbug'....!

.

Thanks for that effort, even with the editorial problems it is very informative.

I am AMAZED at Hornby's ambitious programme  -  I did not note, but do they "hope" to get all out on time ?

The 700 Black motor AND 2-HAL ( let alone the new 2-BIL liveries are amazing.

( AND the Railroad crosti-boilered 9F  MUST HAVE visited Fawley at least once !!!!!

Wooooooohooooooo!!!!!!!!!

Black Motor. .............Yipeeeeeeeeeeee!

Steady now.

Nice to see J 15 and Claud. Very nice. Not my bag but should prove to be good looking popular models. Also Hornby have listened, evidenced by the return of the separate smoke box handles on the GWR tanks.

Overall very positive I feel.

Rob
