AndyJH
Hello, Although ive already made quite a few posts, i realised i hadn't made an introduction post I am a returning railway modeller, after getting on the housing market recently . Just bought my first house in July, i now have have my model railway up at my house which had been stored for 20 years plus in my parents outbuildings loft. Having it set-up, has reawakened my interest in the hobby, i am intending on improving the model and getting looking how I've always wanted it to. The layout i have will be a Scottish themed layout, this was all due to my layout been built originally by my dad 20 years plus ago. It was built around the Hornby Highland Loco - Lochness which came as a trainset starter set one Christmas.
Markeg
Hi Andy, and welcome. Thanks for the intro and you are from a lovely city/town. Congratulations on buying your first house. I will look into your layout. Interesting that it has been in the parents loft for so long, but you gotta put it somewhere. I am in Australia and stayed in Chester for 3 nights in 2011, just after the royal wedding. Visited the Model Railway club and town and Modelscene when it was still trading. RMweb Premium Grafarman Posted December 18, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 18, 2013 Hi there! You probably know already, but there's a new Model Shop opened in Bridge Street in the old Modelzone premises which might be worth a look for your layout bits. Chester is my old stomping ground and I pass through whenever I'm up in Prestatyn... Enjoy the site! David
