Well here we are as promised (rashly?), the light railway has aquired a van for the carriage of one of the areas specialities aka watercress (or indeed any other perishable agricultural product). In reality a purchase from a second hand stand for a very modest £3.00 or so it proved to be a Roxey S&D van, requiring a few repairs and a new roof and a suitably careworn paint job. It was going to be in Southern livery but I really didn't fancy the lining, and aided by the aquisition from another second hand stand of a Hornby Southern passenger brake van 'C' which can help out with seasonal traffic the decision was made.

More soon.
