If you are one of those people who like to make large rectangular baseboards, here is a good station to pick.

Title Birkenhead Park Station, Birkenhead Park, works off Cleveland Street and environs, Birkenhead, 1946

It is not often that the real railway has such straight edges.

However, Exmouth Junction, here in Exeter, had the same qualities, but the Exmouth branch would go off the board straight into the operators or the exhibition viewers!

?This is Exmouth Junction in 1905 before the LSWR's Concrete Works was built.

Neither are of interest to me, one bring the wrong railway and both being much too large.  It would take another lifetime to build the locos required for Exmouth Junction in S Scale. ... or another pension to buy the stock required in 4mm!
