RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted February 20, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 20, 2014 With the commemorations of the First World War starting this year several manufacturers are producing kits and Swift Sixteen have added this to their range, due for release late March / early April http://www.swiftsixteen.co.uk/productDetails.php?productID=87 Robs kits are mainly in resin and well detailed plus simple to build. Superglue some fine sandpaper, to prepare mating surfaces, and a couple of hours is all that usually required. I've built several of his kits and been impressed by the detail and fit. Great for modifying too. Available in 32 or 45mm gauge.
RMweb Gold Gilbert Posted February 21, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 21, 2014 Paul I'm a complete novice to 16mm but interetsted in this loco for 32mm track - do the locos lend themselves to trackpower or is battery (and possibly remote control) the only way forward? RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted February 21, 2014 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted February 21, 2014 It's a first for Rob but it looks simple to add pickups for track power. Rc is also going to be easy as hiding the small packs required will be simple in the bonnet or even the chassis.

RMweb Gold Gilbert Posted September 3, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 3, 2014 Saw this at Llanfair Garden Railway Show on Sunday and chatted to (I assume) Rob - kit looks excellent - some decisions to take...maybe I'll have to get up to Tracks to the Trenches.... http://ww1-event.org/
