This was another BGS Railway Society outing. Unfortunately the first roll of film was faulty and the prints are not suitable for reproduction here, so forget about Westbury and Salisbury sheds and some of the shots from Eastleigh! Here's what's left from the day's outing:

Five years later in the winter of 1966, on a trip down to Southampton to visit my brother, I called into Eastleigh again then popped into Southampton Station

DS233 was 30061, WD #1264 built by Porter in 1942.
