RMweb Premium Ian J. I'm not entirely sure of the best approach. It will have to be mended 'in situ' around the stud in the gear wheel:
RMweb Premium skipepsi Posted March 25, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 25, 2014 No is the short answer! The stud would need to be removed because any type of clamp would be too big and foul the centre screw. A complete circle drilled from solid brass with the piston attached would be best would the brass pin be removable in any way?
RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted March 25, 2014 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 25, 2014 Now, you see, I hadn't actually tried that as it's perfectly round and I didn't see it as being likely to remove. But I've just tried it and it came out ok, so it wouldn't have to be an in situ repair.
RMweb Premium skipepsi Posted March 25, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 25, 2014 There you go then a piece of brass bar filed to shape and drilled, actually drilled then filed up to suit would be my way.
