Jock67B
I would love to find a dimensional drawing in 00 of the 'Crab' but failing this, does anyone know the overall height, particularly of the cab - I want to use it to scale off, possibly from one of the superb Flickr images of Hurlford by 'Barking Bill'. This is simply to check the dimensions of the shed prior to finalising some working drawings and he has posted a very sharp high res. shot of a 'Crab' right in one of the entrance arches! Hope he doesn't find such use offensive as I hope to resist my terminal illness long enough to make a representation of the shed where my dad was a driver and where I lived for some of my early years in the maisonette nearest to the shed (1A Block!).Thank you in anticipation and kind regards, Jock67B. Jock67B
Many thanks 'bike2steam', I can assume that the cab roof is virtually the same height. As a matter of interest, bikes are in my blood as much as steam - even though my oncologist (also a biker) has banned me from riding!! You will see that, as I am the one in the middle of the photo, we are of similar age Kind regards, Jock67B.
