Cogirep's been set up for testing after two winters in hibernation and all seems good. Looking forward to getting some of my French models out of their boxes and giving them another spin.

Here's a couple of shots of Paynestown, which is now owned by Reg:

V nice. Brian is brining his new Canadian one too so should be a good range of layouts. we'll have to have a chat about French HO when we're there, it could be my next project. You seem to be able to cram more in the space in Ho than OO, despite it being 7/8th the size.

Just a reminder to those in Wales etc that the Show is this Saturday, 10 May. See you there.

Having been a regular at the Ponty shows -to say I'm disappointed not to have been able to make the show is an understatement.

.

Unfortunately. my gutted kitchen needed rewiring and a lot of chasing out - ( which by 3:00pm was still unfinished )  and more work done before the plumber arrives tomorrow morning.

.

Looking forward to next year.

Brian, we missed you and Paul. Next year maybe? We enjoyed ourselves. If you re wiring your kitchen perhaps you can do my new layout next? As for plumbing , I don't think it needs that yet. Hendre Lane was very much in 1973 mode with blue green and maroon in evidence. Unfortrunately bits fell off when transporting home! Newport in 2 weeks though so may see you there,

Why thank you Tony.

.

The Newport show 'may' be a possibility, the grandsons stay the night before, have rugby training at 9:00am (and they're not 4 yet) and at 2:00pm No.1 son  lands at Rhoose  after aiding and abetting the destruction of $10,000,000 worth of United States undersea hardware (  http://innovation.uk.msn.com/design/nereus-hybrid-sub-lost-at-sea ). I hope he has more luck with his 2mm Union Pacific layout .........

.

And the answer to your next question is 'no' I didn't renew, so from August I'l have more modelling time on Saturday afternoons !!!!!!

Enjoyable day out from my perspective - less than an hour from leaving home, to having the layout set up and tested, and I was next to Brian T's nice new winter Canadian module. Thanks to Marc for taking over on Cogirep while I had a wander and chat, and to everyone at the venue for the friendly atmosphere.

Thanks coming Alistair. I thought it was a lovely little show. Good variety of layouts and lot of great chat. But due to operating constraints didn't have a lot f tine to have a good look around . But will no doubt see you in 10 days at Newport.
