dibber25
We're delighted to announce that Richard Foster has been appointed Editor of Model Rail. As Features Editor, Richard has been responsible for much of the content and look of the magazine in recent years, so readers will see no sudden dramatic changes. Richard does have lots of plans to move the magazine forward and these will be rolled out in coming months.

Linners
Best wishes to Richard on taking over the reins at MR. I appreciate that he has his work cut out for him but will there be a heads up of the contents for issue 196?
dibber25
Best wishes to Richard on taking over the reins at MR. I appreciate that he has his work cut out for him but will there be a heads up of the contents for issue 196? Yes, but I didn't get the chance to do it on Wednesday as I am assembling Volume 2 of "Great British Model Railways" which goes to press next week. I'm now not in the Model Rail office again until Tuesday, but I'll endeavour to do it then. I don't have the info here and wouldn't want to risk doing it from memory. There's a 'Masterclass' on the original 'Merchant Navy' 4-6-2s and how to build the Golden Arrow Productions kit, that much I DO remember!
