steve1023
Hey guys. I am shortly going to commence building a 4TC in N gauge. I am using Electra graphics, but have purchased some whitemetal cab ends from BH Enterprises. My simple question is what is the best glue to use to fix the whitemetal ends to the plastic coach - I don't want to use superglue because of the fogging issue. Advice please Thanks in advance Steve
steveb860
You can get non fogging superglue. But a 2 part epoxy (araldite) should do the job
hayfield
Or Evostick impact adheasive
34theletterbetweenB&D
I'd second on Evostick, applied in a very thin film. Bonds well and durable enough, but may be parted at a later date with a sharp knife if desired. Never apply from the tube or tin (unless it is a 12" : 1' job) make a small blob, apply using the tip of a cocktail stick or similar.
