Agree with Trevor - mine also arrived within the past hour and a quick scan has revealed an excellent range of content, plus more top notch 'night time' pics at Ranelagh Bridge.  Oh and great to see the 'D Day' diesel - a subject which has always interested me as they were the first locos to be landed in France after D Day I understand.

Thanks Mike - I'll tell my brother (naturol) that you're impressed by Chris Nevard's portrayal of his second attempt at Ranelagh Bridge.

Please do Brian (alas my main association with that place was considerably reducing the use made of it, which subsequently led to a colleague knocking it on the head and closing it completely).

Why can I see a mini D-Day layout coming about now, what with the war flats from Bachmann coming. Just need a loco...Also, why is the unbuilt Airfix tank transporter staring at me now?

Seriously, looks like a great issue and with a very relevant publication date. I look forward to getting my mitts on it

I have just downloaded the digital version and know I may sound like a printing rivet counter but there is a page out of sequence and quite a few pages that have been reduced in size and have had white added round the sides. This spoils the look of the magazine.

I have sent an email to Bauer about this but suspect that they will tell me to " keep taking the tablets"

It's a very good edition otherwise.

You need to delete the version of 197 that you have on your iPad. Apparently there was a glitch and we had to upload a new version. If you completely delete the version you are using and download a new one, it will be fixed.

The white borders around some pages are an unavoidable consequence of them being interactive pages, it's what happens when they have extra content.

Chris,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have done as you suggested and deleted and re downloaded and now understand about the interactive pages, however the end of the Ranelagh Bridge article is still missing and what looks like a page from Smallcombe is in it's place.

Regards

Veronica.

Oh, dear! I did the last reply by remote control as I don't work for Model Rail on Fridays. I e-mailed our designer and asked him, as he deals with the digital uploading. He did say that he'd had problems, hence advising you to delete and download again. Sounds like there are still problems, but I'm afraid I can't now get them sorted until Monday.

Do you have a badly printed copy?

Same here,it's not printed to the usual clarity, makes me feel poorly reading it :-/.

It's a good magazine otherwise.

All the page 25 s on the humongous number of copies I bought were ok.... And I have spent most probably a bit longer than any normally minded individual should have looking at them........Should anyone want to have brief glance at one of mine your more than welcome, from a distance. I can also provide the white cotton gloves.
