Chris Dark
Hi, I posted a thread yesterday regarding my issues with fitting a Bachmann 45xx with a Hornby sapphire decoder. Having come to terms with the fact it just wont fit without modifying the body I have been looking at smaller decoders. I have read alot of threads on here in my search and am fairly satisfied to settle on the Zimo (my main operation will be slow moving and shunting which judging by what I have read Zimo are rated highly) My question is has anyone used the mx622 and can just explain on some of he features and how they find it? I have checked the Zimo site and read there PDF manual but it doesn't give me a clear list of available features. Thanks

tender
There's plenty of room in the boiler of a 45xx for a ZIMO MX623® and you would save yourself ~£5. If I remember rightly some 45xx's have an 8pin socket, others don't. If yours has the socket get the 'R' version with the 8pin plug.
Chris Dark
Thank you both for the responses. @ Tender, I will look into the 623 but I am just anxious to buy one as the body is a very tight fit so was going for the smaller of the two, I will measure the inside of the boiler when i am home to confirm.
