petertg
Hi all! I have a Lima CC40100 class electric locomotive (H0 gauge) and I am wondering if there is/was any comparable or corresponding model on the British market as far as chassis are concerned. I also have a Lima class R620 (6/6) electric locomotive and would ask the same question.
Fat Controller
Hi all! I have a Lima CC40100 class electric locomotive (H0 gauge) and I am wondering if there is/was any comparable or corresponding model on the British market as far as chassis are concerned. I also have a Lima class R620 (6/6) electric locomotive and would ask the same question. I can't think of one; IIRC, the CC40100 had short-wheelbase three-axle bogies, unlike anything ever built for the UK market.
34theletterbetweenB&D
Useful site for D+E wheelbase dimensions; should enable you to identify any matches. http://www.clag.org.uk/wheelbase.html
EddieB
Similarly the Swiss Re6/6 (Re620) has a Bo-Bo-Bo arrangement, which has been represented in the UK only by the Euroshuttle locomotives (wheelbase dimensions notwithstanding).
