IGRL
So I had a good bo-bo chassis and in my drawer a Worsely Works class 91 kit. The whole design is far too large and modern so the footplate was narrowed and shortened to fit the chassis and I am doing something more 1930s! IGRL
Less done today as I had to work. The front windows are to be reduced in height with twin lights sit in a light box.
RMweb Premium Ian Smeeton Posted July 22, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 22, 2014 Not the 91 I was expecting. Which section of the RTC Derby did this emanate from, and does it tilt? Regards Ian

John M
The cab reminds me of the EMD GL8 locos supplied for use on the broad gauge in Ireland and some Mexican 3' gauge lines in the early 1960s, perhaps some one from LeGrange had a sneak around the GHC shops. IGRL
The back history is that the Glenthorne Harbour Authority joint ventured with Southern using the diesel electric chassis developed for River Aller. The Glenthorne design is the twin unit built and this is the Eastleigh version.

IGRL
This is 764 'River Kenn' It will be in Southern Colours. I think the chassis is a 'Lifelike'. It has flywheels and a 5 pole armature and runs very well.
