RMweb Premium Siberian Snooper Posted July 30, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 30, 2014 Hi All Would freight only crossovers be operated as a pair or individual levers? Many TIA SS
Miss Prism
Probably depends on context (yard or running line?), but generally, I would say no - a crossover is a crossover, regardless of its traffic status.
RMweb Gold TheSignalEngineer Posted July 30, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 30, 2014 It would depend on the layout if worked from the signal box. If ground levers they would have individual ones.

If ground levers they would have individual ones. It is a run round and reverse facility with no signal box. I would assume the throat end might have a single lever and lock and was wondering what would be at the other end, as there is a short siding. RMweb Gold TheSignalEngineer Posted July 30, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 30, 2014 What is the method of working for trains on the "Main" line? If there is no signalling there would probably just be a ground lever on the sleeper ends for all of the points.

Many thanks for your all help one and all. SS
