Am I being a bit daft or is it that Markits no longer do a replacement LM chimney for the 4mm Nelson? If they don't is there an alternative I can source please?

Any other tips, beyond Graham's, for enhancing the Baccy Nelson  would be useful. I'd possibly go for a Comet replacement chassis/gear set, but that would mean getting all the other bits and mine is running OK just at the moment. Maybe later when I've saved up for the wheels, motor, gearbox, c pins etc.

EDIT just found Craftsman Kits stuff and they do it.

You'll find the brass chimney alone will transform the model. But don't just glue it over the old markings. Study the plans or look at photos and you'll see the original is wrongly located as well as being the wrong shape. The new scale one should be fitted a little further forward.

Thanks mate. I've actually got three now as they are inexpensive on EBay. They all run and would only have very limited outings on my coming layout as Nelsons rarely 'visited' Seaton Junction.

Markits did have some earlier this year, as I ordered one but they are not in the Catalog mainly down to people not knowing what they want apparently, so somethings they have taken out, but they definitely did or still have some.

Got mine from Craftsman Models and with a tiny bit of fettle they look very good; nice and 'wide' if that's the term?
