michaelp
During the fitting of one of the PL 10E point motors I managed to cut the operating pin too short by mistake, is there a way to fix this or is the motor now useless? Thanks in advance. Michael
BlackRat
Depends how short, the PL10 used to come with an extension pin and a piece of small brass tubing to fit between the two? Give that a go, that's what the extension pin is for....... Or if you don't have one, try a piece of brass tubing and a suitably size piece of wore or pin, super glue or solder them together.......works fine.... I know! :-)
michaelp
it's probably only a few millimetres too short, when I got the motor it was already fitted with the extended pin (PL 10E)
