tamperman36
I built a small canal scene a short while ago and found old triang metal wagon buffers make a good looking bollard. You can find old wagons cheap at swapmeets or in scrap boxes at model shops, you could then get upto 4 buffers from 1 wagon.

wainwright1
Michaelp. You could try Scalelink. They do a Wharfage set in the whitemetal section of their extensive range, which includes the parts for a wharehouse crane and three types of tethering fittings,: two types of bollards and rings which come in two parts. I think that you get about five of each type. See their illustration below. The first and third parts make the ring, the second one is a 'T' shaped bollard and the fourth is a round bollard. We have used these items on our St Mellion layout. The crane is on the wharehouse and the bollards are mounted on the quayside. See below. Hope you find this of assistance.
