Londontram
The title say it all really, so to save me trawling through loads of suppliers sites can any one tell me who makes plastic loco brake shoes? Thanks Steve

Londontram
Yep thanks mate I found them. Just got to work out which ones to get now as they list GER type, GWR type and midland type (wish they had pictures) I need the type that's closest to Caledonian locos - any one any ideas? 34theletterbetweenB&D
I'd go GER type, typically a straight hanger and small shoe roughly in the middle of the hanger, a very widely used pattern by pre-group companies. MR often used a curved hanger, and the GWR often put the hanger pivot very close to the shoe position.

Horsetan
There are one or two types (Midland/LMS) made under the Slaters label as well, I think.
