An excellent show!

I am really pleased that I attended. First class choice of layouts and traders.

Nice friendly atmosphere at the show. Decent venue.

I am already looking forward to next year.

Well done ERA.

Kind regards,

A great show indeed with some quite excellent layouts.

Well done to the ERA especially as it was their first show. I'll try and get some snaps on too but am playing nursey at the moment so rather busy!

Trade was good, too good in fact - no more spending for me for quite some time!

Cheers,

John E.

Apologies for the quantity but I thought this layout was so good, I had to take loads of pictures. I think all the buildings are scratch-built, the motive power is too and the track is hand-made to boot!

Truly exquisite modelling!

Vying closely for the top spot was "Tre Ponti" by Brian Bennett Italian H0. Also brilliant.

I do hope she's not aiming to sneak into the bar.

This is a very charming little diesel, I love it!!!

I love the little details on this, the rendering having fallen off the goods shed, the weathering on the buildings and so on, again excellent modelling.

Finally for my photos, we come to "Boommeer" Dutch H0 by Nick Palette, even though he was the first stand I only got back to him at the end, sorry mate!

post-6892-0-69299000-1418385875.jpg

A lovely little sound fitted modern diesel unit, with the help of Axel K. we discovered that the station announcements were indeed in Dutch, wonderful stuff!

I wonder what the maintenance guy is thinking!?!

A simply divine "big MaK" (sorry!) but look at the lovely weathering on those wagons, also visible in the next shot.

And, if you can't have black & white cows in Holland, where can you have them?

post-6892-0-25238300-1418385896_thumb.jpg

I always like to get an overhead shot wherever possible, just so I can borrow any track plan ideas!

As is usual for me at most shows, I spent too long gas-bagging or contemplating purchases so I missed taking any photos of the remainder of the layouts, sorry about that.

Hopefully we shall all look forward to another great show next year.

Cheers,

John E.
