RMweb Premium Kris Posted January 10, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 10, 2015 Watergate is a single coach length.
Rivercider
There are reasonable pictures of both in LSWR Country LInes Then and Now by Mac Hawkins. As Kris says they are a single coach length, and made of standard SR style (Exmouth Junction made) concrete platform edging. Counting the segments there are about six segments for each end ramp, and about fourteen segments at full platform height in between. Neither platform is very wide, not much more than double the width of the coping stones. Each station has a single SR style concrete station name board beside a single large notice board. Watergate has two lamps on concrete posts, Yarde has two lamps on cast iron posts and a small flat roofed waiting room, cheers
