shortliner
OK folks - it is silly questions time! - can somebody tell me what this car is? and what the tubular shape underneath the side is for - it looks like a loco fuel tank , but I'm sure it isn't The still has been grabbed from Rays video in post #253 at around 3:20 as the train is being pushed back. TBH I'm curious and don't remember noticing this feature before. TIA Jack

long island jack
Due to unforeseen circumstances ( helping Son in his new house, obviously SWMBO doesn't no what the word "retired" means, when she volunteered my services ) the rebuild has been put on hold for 3 weeks, just pleased there was no penalty clause on the contract. RMweb Gold roundhouse Posted June 14, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 14, 2018 Why don’t you use the very common phrase down here at the moment on Southern / Thamelink, ‘ due to an operational incident’. Just heard it again!!!
