Both locos have now had their transfers applied, again using 10 year old fox transfers which are loosing their stick meaning a lot of wastage.
I was pleasantly surprised as to how well the two part transfer for the 3 beasties worked.

The 31 needs the cantrail line adding, plus a repair to the gold stripe and the black grills painting.

The 37 needs a touch up to the grey on the cab roofs, painting and fitting the black windscreen etch (I’m tempted to glaze before fitting as well), touching up the warning yellow on the grills (I didn’t use etch primer and as a result paint lifted with the masking), finally the buffer beam and name plates need painting red. I have no white primer so painting the black plates red will have to wait
