cychan1228
Hi everyone, I have an old Fleischmann BR50 model with a pancake motor in the tender. The left brush (in red circle) and the metal chassis (and also the left track) are live. The back of the metal motor plate... Is it possible to DCC this old Fleischmann as the left brush cannot be isolated from the left track? Thanks Chris
cychan1228
No, you can't. Fleischmann offers replacement motor shields for older models as spare parts. It's probably not in the manual you have from that loco, but you should be able to find it on their website. Thanks!

Guardian
Hi cychan1228, you need the isolated motor shield item no. 50 4750 replacing the non-isolated Motor shield no. 50 4701 (as evident from your Picture). Regards Mark
