  1. Some of my decoders that IB2 couldn't recognise are ESU lokpilot V4.0 DCC and one is V5.0. Erratically IB2 was able to read and control some other lokpilot V4.0 DCC decoders. I changed CV17, CV18 and CV29 as I thought IB2 might have had trouble recognising long addresses (i.e. those larger than 127). I have tried using short and long addresses (and changed CV29 to 12 and 44 accordingly) but the decoders couldn't be controlled by IB2. Resetting the decoders (CV8 = 8) couldn't help either.
  2. Hello everyone, my Uhlenbrock Intellibox II is unable to control some ESU V4.0/5.0 decoders, which are completely fine with ESU lokprogrammer or Piko SmartBox. The decoders are not responding to IBII, although CVs can still be read and changed. I tried changing CV17, CV18 and CV29, but the decoders were either not responding or the loco ran erratically. The loco ran perfectly with ESU lokprogrammer or Piko Smartbox. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance Chris
  3. Thanks a lot WIMorrison! The part number is 50330, and I managed to connect the booster with my IB-II!
  4. Hello everyone, I have connected my Uhlenbrock Intellibox II with Digikeijs booster DR5033 on LocoNet B. Do I need to set up or register the booster on the IB II? Or is it just plug-and-play? On the IB II, I have tried LocoNet Programme, where I was asked to input the 'Part number'. Does anything know what it is? Thanks in advance Chris
  5. Hello everyone, what are the differences between Uhlenbrock Intellibox II and IB control II? Why is IB control is cheaper than Intellibox? Thanks Chris
  6. oh yes, sorry, I got mixed with the two coaches
  7. Thanks everyone your replies Actually I am looking for non-insulated wheels for Hornby Brighton Belle DMU: I don't think Hornby R8234 would fit...
  8. Hi, I was planning to fit interior lighting into my Bachmann coach. However, both sides of the wheels are insulated, which make it impossible to pick up power from the axle. Are there any wheelsets on the market that are insulated on one side only. The diametre of the wheels is 13mm. Thanks Chris
  9. Hi all, just received this impressive snow plough and added 2 LEDs as floodlights! Chris
  10. Hi everyone, I have an old Fleischmann BR50 model with a pancake motor in the tender. The left brush (in red circle) and the metal chassis (and also the left track) are live. The back of the metal motor plate... Is it possible to DCC this old Fleischmann as the left brush cannot be isolated from the left track? Thanks Chris
