I have been slowly putting together a 6x2ft n gauge variant of the P4 layout known as Dartley. There are some great videos of that on YouTube and it was in a recent magazine too (although which one and issue escapes my brain! I am joining this forum to pick peoples brains and get some motivation to get back into the build. It’s struggling with wiring and control mechanisms and feel somewhat frazzled when I look at it. To help with this, I am going to start an OO gauge model after Christmas. (Hence the ‘cryptic’ post title hah) It’ll be 4x1ft and be effectively a poor imitation of chris Nevard a beautiful Forest of Dean. I will need help with this to select controls, and point out how to do various little things that sound great, but might be beyond me to implement.
