Lord Bickerstaff
Morning all, hope all is well I'm currently trying to recreate the low fell to Plymouth mail train from 2002 with TS2018 (train sim 2018), I've got the route and paths sorted but the bit that's got me stumped is at Bristol TM. Now I could be wrong and the stop at BTM is for a break/crew change but looking at the EWS timetable it says there's an attachment and it's done within 15 minutes (ish) but I can't find evidence on the web / you tube of it happening. My assumption is that an 08 with the required vans for attachment is waiting in the center roads and couples them on to the back of the Plymouth service? could anybody shed some light on this at all? regards - LB
Glorious NSE
Would that have moved to the new terminal at Parkway in 2002?
Lord Bickerstaff
That may be why I can't find the info I need will search for the parkway movements thank you
RMweb Gold TravisM Posted March 23, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 23, 2018 They would have used the train engine and propelling vehicles for shunting. Maybe it was just a simple attachment, hence the quick time.
Lord Bickerstaff
Looks like for my time frame it would've been parkway that dealt with the train, unfortunately the terminal isn't represented in the route i'll be using so I thinking a bending of the rules is in order! A run into BTM and using the 67 to shunt some extra vans on the front should pass ok Thank you for the help
