MGR Hooper!
Hey,Does Peco OO9 couplings follow some standard height? If so what's the height at which the coupling has to be mounted? I've been commissioned to design some NG stock for someone in the UK and we'd like to know at what height Peco OO9 couplings are mounted so that the relevant mounting can be designed in the CAD work. These are the couplings and NEM sockets we intend to use for the locos. Peco GR-102 and GR-103. The coaches will use Peco OO9 bogies listed as GR-104https://railsofsheffield.com/products/26056/peco-gr-102-009-scale-couplers-to-fit-nem-355-pocket-https://railsofsheffield.com/products/26055/peco-gr-103-009-scale-coupling-pockets-x8-for-use-with-gr-102-couplers-Regards
009 micro modeller
While I haven't noticed much myself due to only having one Peco RTR wagon and very poor standardisation of coupling height across some of my stock, a few people have suggested that the Peco coupling height is not standard with other 009 stock. Roco and Minitrains skips are a good standard coupling height simply because they are hard to alter the couplings on compared to other vehicles, and fairly commonly used. MGR Hooper!
Is there a standard height to HOe stock from Roco etc?
009 micro modeller
Is there a standard height to HOe stock from Roco etc? I'm not sure how standardised it is even within the same manufacturer's range, but lots of people use the small wagons as the standard since they cannot easily be altered themselves.
