JeffP
One of the things I noted in the article on making an MMP Brit was that the supplied handrail knobs are castings. The author replaced them with turned ones. Looking online, I've found Slaters at £7.40 for 12 and Markits at £3.21 for 12. They also appear on a well known auction site at £7.70 for 24, P&P included? Are the Slaters ones twice as good?

JeffP
But does anyone know if the ones offered are any different, or indeed, which is best?
doilum
But does anyone know if the ones offered are any different, or indeed, which is best? The ones from Slaters and Eileen's can always be used straight from the packet. Some I have bought cheaper have needed drilling out or even discarding. Question is, are they the correct shape for your task?
