Mack1979
I've got a batch of 4PDT switches with 2mmx4mm solder tags (from Maplin so unable to get advice there). They're really small and my soldering isn't brilliant. I was wondering if I could use crimp connectors to push into the tags but I can't find any the right size. Any advice? RMweb Gold adb968008 Posted September 18, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 18, 2018 (edited) Ive used fishplates in the past, Gaugemaster ones are a bit more flexible, and have a hole at one end for a wire. I have some crimp pins from Hobbytronics (www.hobbytronics.co.uk) reference; CRIMPPINS and they are designed to fit square pins of 0.64x0.64mm. If your 4PDT switch pins are similar, then these are an option. Don't forget to buy a crimping tool though, unless you only plan to do a few pins.
