Hornby Colas 67 NEM socket problem.

Hi all,

I have just purchased two Hornby class 67 locos in Colas livery (one to be re-numberd/named.

I have found an issue with one of the NEM sockets on BOTH locos and wondered if this is a common problem with the 67s or with the Colas liveries ones?

One NEM socket is fine, the hole goes all the way through and allows the coupling to push in and clip at the other end of the socket.

The opposite end, the hole does not pass all the way through so the coupling does not push in all the way nor does it clip on to anything (the "fish tails" of the coupling should pass through and clip at the other end of the NEM socket hole).

I have informed my local model shoo where I purchased them from and hopefully Hirnby will be able to supply replacement sockets. Just wondered if anyone else had noticed this problem.

Dan
